According to the Building Owner & Manager Association (BOMA), corporate real estate executives say they are willing to pay more to lease green office space and that they consider sustainability issues when making decisions about locations, according to recently released research from an international real estate publication and a global financial services firm specializing in real estate services and investment management.
Additionally, a public policy polling survey recently reported that 19 percent of the youngest adults in the U.S. say theyre willing to pay significantly more for green goods. Thats more than twice as many as any other age group.
That trend is expected to grow stronger and more prominent in years to come. Making Green decisions today may be the key to ensure a healthy and prosperous tomorrow for forward looking companies, property owners and managers.
